Success isn't built overnight, that is why I'm gonna share a story of well know wealthy man called Bill Gates. Since I've got a story to tell so allow me to share the story right away.
William Henry Gates, born on 28 October 1955 in Seattle, Washington. Bill started showing interest in computer programming at the age of 13 at Lakeside School. He persued his passion through college. Through technological innovation, keen business strategy and aggressive competitive tactics he built the world largest software business, Microsoft in the process he became one of the richest men in the world. He relished in playing board games (liked taking risks) and he excelled in monopoly. Bill had a very close relationship with his motger, Mary. Bill was a voracious reader as a child, spending most of hours pouring over reference books like encyclopedia. Around the age of about 11 or 12, Bill's parents began to have concerns about his behavior. He was doing well at school, but he seemed bored and withdrawn at times.
His parents worried he might be a loner.Though they were strong believers in public education, when Bill turned 13 they enrolled him in Seattle's Lakeside School, an exclusive preparatory school. He blossomed in nearly all his subjects, excelling in maths and science, and also doing well in grama and English. It was Lakeside school where Bill met Paul Allen, who was two years his senior. The two became fast friends, bounding on their common enthusiasm over computers, even though they were very different. Allen was more reserved and shy while Bill was fiesty and at times combative.
They spent much time together working on programs. On one occasion, their argument escalated to the point where Allen banned Bill Gates from the computer lab. After their probation, they were allowed back into the computer lab when they offered to debug the program.During this time, Gates developed a payroll program for the computer company the boys hacked into, and scheduling program for the school. At the of 15 Bill went to business with his pal, Allen. They wanted to open their own company, but Gates family wanted him to graduate at college and become a lawyer. Bill Gates intelligence allowed him to see all sides of the software industry product development and corporate strategy. When analyzing any corporate move, he would develop a profile of all possible cases and run through them, asking questions that could possibly happen. An unprepared presenter would here, “That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard!” from Gates.
Bill Gates sooner stepped down from the day-to-day operations of Microsoft in 2000, turning over the job of CEO to college friend Steve Ballmer who had been with Microsoft since 1980. He positioned himself as chief software architect so he could concentrate on what was for him the more passionate side of the business. Gates announced he was transitioning himself from full time work at Microsoft, to devote more quality time to the foundation. His last full day at Microsoft was June 27, 2008. In addition to all the accolades of being one of the most successful and richest businessmen in the history of world, Bill gates has also received numerous awards.
